Successful Children's Health Fair

October 23rd, 2017

The Pana Junior High School was full of children on Saturday, October 21st for the Pana Community Hospital’s 14th Annual Children’s Health & Safety Fair.  The hospital estimated approximately 100 children were in attendance.

All children age 18 and under that attended the health fair had a chance to register for the grand prizes sponsored by First National Bank of Pana.  This year there were two grand prizes-a wireless speaker and a Kindle Fire Kid’s Edition.  The winner if the Kindle Fire was Jace Bland and Tess Casner won the wireless speaker.

Besides the grand prize, many booths offered other great prizes.  The following are the winners and prizes:
-Bikes from Heritage Health, won by Addie Reed and Aiden Cvengros

-Candy bouquet from Loving Arms won by Karen Ivan

-Bikes from Hickory Estates, won by Mabry Casner and Maks Bailey

-Tie Blanket from Quad County won by Chloe Beyer

-Scooters from Pana Fire Department won by Marley Rosinski and Mason Fleming

-First Aid Kits from American Red Cross won by Jaxsun McCurry and Linda Reed

Children also had a great time enjoying the Magic show presented by Ronald McDonald.  The Children’s Health & Safety Fair is an annual event hosted by Pana Community Hospital.  Kids play fun and informative games at every booth while the parents and children learn vital health and safety information.  Pana Community Hospital would like to thank all the vendors and guests who participated in this year’s health and safety fair.
