Pana Community Hospital announces that applications are currently being accepted for the Robert L. "Bob" Broverman Scholarship and the Harold & Grace Brown Memorial Scholarship.
The Robert L. Broverman Scholarship was created by retired Circuit Judge Robert L. "Bob" Broverman of Shelbyville to be used for graduating seniors who live within the Pana Community Hospital service area and are seeking an education in a medical related field.
The Brown Scholarship was created in memory of Harold and Grace Brown to assist students who are pursuing an education in a medical field. Any high school senior or student currently attending college seeking a degree in a health care field that resides within the hospital's service area may apply. The scholarship trust is administered by Peoples Bank & Trust of Pana.
The Pana Community Hospital serves many communities including Pana, Assumption, Owaneco, Tower Hill, Lakewood, Oconee, Herrick, Cowden, Ramsey, Rosamond, Ohlman, Nokomis, Coalton and Witt. Graduating seniors may receive applications from Pana Community Hospital or one of the following high school guidance offices: Pana, Cowden, Ramsey, Nokomis or Assumption.
